incorrect! it was "-343522682". i don't know why it didn't do "North Carolina". an update?

@@mr.funkid7128 I don't want to dive too much into the seed system in a KZbin comment, buuuut basically the seed is always a number which the game does some math with to create a world. So when you type letters into the seed box the game converts it into a number to do it's algorithms. Therefore if you create two worlds, one with the seed "North Carolina" and one with "-343522682" you'll see not only will it produce the same world, but also the /seed command will output "-343522682" for both. This also led to a really cool bug before Caves & Cliffs where you could create a world that generated a 0 seed, which would really mess up the algorithm causing everything from repeating trees to repeating caves and structures across the entire world. Repeating ravines were especially cool because they were an infinite crack in the ground 😅

Minecraft has actually had a demo version for a really long time, both the PE and JE demo came out in 2012. All you do is log into an account that doesn't own the game and it should let you play the latest version in demo mode, but initially it was available to play online without even downloading the game kind of like classic.
