I could try it! I also have some interesting stories/facts about beast that very few people know.

Thanks for your video. I loved this game as a teen growing up in the late 90's early 00's. I was so happy when I found out it isin Steam.

This is an amazing project, I hope you're still working on it. Personally, I don't mind if there are a few areas that are just decorative filler. Make a parking lot, a hotel, etc. Or even a bit of theming. As much as I also love the "where's waldo" complexity that can be crammed into every nook and cranny you can get in this game, this is a different vibe entirely and I think it's cool af

Making great progress. I am liking the background music as I watch. You seem to be keeping a modest pace in regards to "filling" the land in. Good job and dont let the monotony get to you. Sometimes its food to wake away for a day or some and return.

Hey there again! Just replying to some comments. You mentioned the pathing and AI leaves a lot to be desired and I agree! In parks past, I would build a path underground and have them come up to the surface inside buildings to hide the unconventionality of them but guests could get to the park entrance more efficiently. Of the subject of guests needing to go to the restrooms, check on their activity tab, if they are not headed to a restroom they are likely in line for a ride or sitting and eating.i think you are doing great so far. Dont be afraid to have large patches of trees to fill in some areas in relation to the size of land you are working with. You can clear them in the future for park additions. Multiple use of trees and shrubs add to realism. I admire your sense of reality while building this park.

Very interesting and ambitious! I have been playing since the game was released but only started openrct2 a couple months ago. While building a somewhat as large of a park and not as terrain featured (the map is flat to start), at the same time I am exploring and learning what openrct2 has done to the game. Really really amazing improvements to the point that the game could have been re-launched on a commercial scale and i would have gladly bought it all over again. The start of your park is beautiful. Your infrastructure style is commendable and I absolutely love the static extra trains and the back story of the looping one is top notch. I have yet to figure out how to do that. I don't have as much patience in initial details as you and most other park creators. I see you have multiple gates at all four corners but peeps are only generated at two points, or has that changed too? Their is a crap ton of real estate between those locations. I too am curious how the game will handle that. The terrain turned out pretty good. I will subscribe and follow you on this adventure to see how it turns out. I would like to offer one piece of advice and that is can you increase the volume of your microphone? It was difficult to hear what you were saying. My volume was at max and I had to put on headphones for a little more improvement. Thanks for your time and effort and great luck with this park!

i am trying something similar, looking for the limits on the new update. what i´m worried about is the guests´ pathfinding though....

Where do you get all that other custom sceneries and rides
@nahfu64012 жыл бұрын
I believe the main way I acquired most of these items was joining multiplayer servers. When you join a server with custom items I think it downloads those items to your client.

Hey everyone! Another update. I ended catching a pretty bad case of covid a couple of day ago. Even though I am vaccinated, things got serious quickly. I'll likely be in the hospital for the next week or two, hopefully after that I can finally show you all what I've done in the park. Thanks for all of your guys' support, you all are awesome :)

@nahfu64012 жыл бұрын
Lol very true, im sure this map will look like a massive city once its all filled it. Still hoping that the game can even handle this, I still have a little doubt even with the lifted sprite limits in this version of Open RCT2.

How did you make that catwalk? It looks great. Do you have a link for the scenario? I'd love to try this with you. But I can't be bothered to make a 999x999 scenario with terrain like that. Lol
@nahfu64012 жыл бұрын
Apologies for not replying this sooner! The catwalk is custom scenery within OpenRCT2, but I eventually stopped using these since they seem to have some sort of collision issue with the ride track, although it's a very minor collision, it still bothers me lol. I don't currently have a link to the scenario yet but I'm sure I'll make it public someday. I used the random terrain generator within OpenRCT2's scenario creation tool, and the result is actually really nice with some tweaking.
