Already use the shoes, but I like the video. Nice relaxed style.

I just tried on a pair of Skechers slip ons. There will be a pie in my closet in the near future.

Skechers are my favorite shoes. Just started getting into them for about the last year. Love all the various designs, styles, color combinations and the slip-ins feature. They feel fantastic on my feet. I have a stand-up job, not a sit-down job so, the more comfortable the better on my off nights. I don't wear them when I work. I have comfortable work shoes for that from the work boot warehouse. I currently have 14 different pairs of Skechers, because when you buy several pairs at a time, say 4-6, you get a great discount. There are so many that I love, that I have an online account with them on their website, where I have 10 more saved to purchase at another time. No one pair will ever be worn down, for the rest of my life. I'm turning 65 in October, and I do things my way now. Cheers ! Kyle - Los Angeles

The issue i have with Sketchers is the quality: Its....very basic. But that's a question of budget and how much one is willing to spend, etc. Recently i discovered a brand im really happy with: Joya, a Swiss brand for ''slightly older persons'' , and i bought their Traveler 2 model, which is a slip-on. Its made of full-grain leather and they have some kind of sole technology which protects your back and knees and encourages a natural rolling gait. I'm super happy with them. Compared to mass brands like Sketchers or Adidas or whatever, they feel different. They also make a bunch of minimalist ''classy'' sneakers and what not. I think that these days, the culture has changed a little and it is no longer really necessary to wear hard, narrow dress shoes, even on formal occasions or for work, which i think is a good thing. You can find minimalist foot wear which goes well with a suit, but is also comfortable.

Appreciate your take. I will check out Joya!

Timer lights are no good during termite swarm season in Louisiana. We have to spend a month in Spring living with lights off at night. If we go away during May we cannot leave lights on. Otherwise good tips!

My cousin had a security service. Sensors were on every door and window. He was gettings calls from them everytime the wind blew a little too hard. I would ask the neighbors to park one of their cars in the driveway, too.
