What a nice house not to small not to big just right.

Wow! Just the mirror image of the home I grew up in. We didn't have the living room. The 'den' wd have been it. 5 big bedrooms, big porch, no 11 acres, but huge back yard. Half bath downstairs of the back of the mudroom/pantry.

I'm really sad that nobody knew the name of the "song." It's Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata, one of the most recognizable and famous of his fabulous pieces. It's exquisite. The dead deer, though, not so much. Either somebody knows something about period decor, or else those are stunning family pieces that have been there since the beginning, more or less! Stunning. Would have loved to see the bathrooms. I wondered if the roof was slate, that would make all the difference in whether or not the roof was just mossy or in desperate need of new.

Lovely home

This was our family's homestead. No one lived close enough to keep it in the family as Ruth was ready to downsize. Many memories.

How sad that you didn't bother to share with your viewers, the asking price. I don't live in AR, however, if I had wanted to consider this house, I would certainly want to know what the price was before I would go any further, especially if I have to travel to see it. Personally, I don't like being required to "contact" a realtor before I know most of the facts....too many end up bothering me to the point of harassment.

Not a true queen anne ...more like a hybrid Greek revival...perhaps there was insect damage or mold....great preservation but some contemporary updates required especially in the kitchen and dining...too much clutter and personal effects....great garden and grounds..as is...it has the makings of a great haunted house, not a gentrified country estate....an urbanite might find a writing respite there.
