Oh yes getting a co-signer...I lived there as the wife of a student but because we had a J1 and J2 visa I had a work permit but it is tough to get started because of the different in the system

Living in America for 30+ years. This #%* place is not easy. And you have a US passport which makes everything a 100 times easier. Having supportive family and friends makes things easier to navigate. I live in NYC where everyone is out for self, people don’t even share info on helpful tips
