So strange seeing the autoracks hauled by just one locomotive. Would this be one of those eastbound "Tesla trains" that sometimes make their way to places like New York? I know some of those moves use the strange single-engine power, which is why I ask.

This tourist, historical railroad has lost its way and has very poor PR. Instead of purchasing these newer diesels, they should have bought Doyle McCormick's PA-1 and purchased the FA's that used to run on this line. The money saved should have been purposed to getting #734 back on the main. Also, those passenger cars look awful. They should be painted gloss black with the gold striping and fireballs on each end. I volunteered from 1994 to 1996. At the time, I took 35mm photos of the rebuild and very first run of #734 from the vantage of the caboose. I also took pictures and recorded audio of Green Frog's filming of the Scenic back in '94. Also, I kept log books of each and every time I worked there, recording personnel, activities and any unusual events. Six times, I emailed the Scenic to see if there was interest in this as well as returning to work on the railroad. Not once was I ever contacted.

Seems to be a pretty successful operation with its 75,000+ riders a year. Also, spam emailing a business and then turning around to complain about them on the Internet also seems like a sure fire way to get a job there...
