Happy belated birthday, Dustin 🎉 It's amazing how much stuff we accumulated over the past 5 yrs! It took us half a day to move out of our Rv, into the house! Luckily, we were able to park the Rv in front of the house & carry everything directly in. Here we sit in a 4 bedroom empty house, waiting on Costco & Amazon to deliver new household goods....since we have absolutely no furniture. It's been a ton of fun😊 air matress suck! Hope you all are getting settled in.

Worst states to be in period with an RV let alone just being in at all. California New York ColoradoThe Northwest part of Illinois. Anywhere even remotely close to The capital. And anywhere else that has political balloons attached to it not because of politics but because the policies there enacted by the politicians that cater to that nonsense make life a living hill for residents let alone people passing through.

Indiana is the kind of place that shuts down every rest area at the same time. These are not brilliant people at IDOT. the police are something that you need to avoid at all cost. As for the sales tax… I have no idea what they are talking about. It’s just not the case. As for Kansas… it’s just some place you have to drive through to get where you’re going sometimes. Our food has to come from somewhere.😂 California just sucks but it’s the price you have to pay for seeing some of the most beautiful places on earth. Go with a full tank and a full fridge. Don’t buy anything you don’t absolutely have to have until you get back to America.

I went in a Brinkley at Sky River RV in Pismo this weekend, After already buying a 2025 Alliance Paradigm 380MP. Well, all I can say is I was very impressed. For example, the door for the MP room was a pocket door. Nice! You get SO MUCH MORE!! with a Brinkley. Just standing in the Kitchen you have this feeling of great quality. Brinkley goes beyond to give customers those extra features. LIke the screen door handle, kitchen knife holder, dog dishes, trash can and cutting board in the enter island. I mean the list goes on and on. I was embarrassed to tell the salesman I just bought the Alliance. I acted like I was shopping for a new RV. And what is more depressing, I could have got the Brinkley for the same price I paid for the Alliance. Now I have to buy a back up camera, tire pressure monitor, lippert screen door handle, and the keyless entry door key pad just to get the extras I want that already come in a Brinkley. I will be trading in my Alliance in 6 to 8 months. Oh, and the tires and ABS. Geeze. like I said, the list goes on and on for what you get in a Brinkley V.S. an Alliance.

600 Hundred Thousand Miles, is whay ment to say!

Secret to this car is keeping oil change and keeping engine temperature constant. Should only have to change timing belt every 100 thousand BUT when you do, put in new water pump and radiator. Those have to come out to get to the belt and part of keeping the cars temperature constant. I have a 1996 Toyota 4-Runner and I am approaching 600 Hundred miles nd my engine still has many more miles to go! Happy travels you two.

That gut feeling when you are leaving spouse and kids to go on diployment or patrol is unique and goes deep to your core. As we departed for my first patrol, I saw grown men with tears in their eyes. How weak (I thought) they were. Then on my second patrol, I completely understood.

When I gunned the gas on my lincoln.....that buck flew 40 yrds uptop of an embankment & it dropped instantly.. which I think is what kept him from coming through the windshield. So happy for you two! Awesome car Leslie. We are in same situation after 5 yrs of full-time. We get our house on Monday and we have zero furniture. Our camp chairs are our new lazyboys😊 We are still doing our camphost job (for the last time) at the Ghost town & renting a house at an army post in base housing,,,,, which is beautiful! Lot's of folks don't realize that some bases open up houses to military retirees & DOD contractors. We will still keep our Rv and travel for vacations. Lot of bases also have Rv storage lots too. which makes it convenient. So glad you guys are still making videos as we can definitely relate to your stories. You both are so funny & endearing❤

There is no comparison. Brinkley construction is 10x better than an Alliance. I just bought an Alliance Paradigm 380mp. And walked through the Brinkley's same version. OMG. For the same price, the Brinkley is better. Tires, ABS, kitchen accessories, tire psi monitor, back up camera, built in water hose. Outdoor speakers. Better built cabinets and doors. Alliance gives you Nothing and charges the same price. Oh well. I'll be getting rid out f myself Alliance in about 2 years.

OK so the part about the running vehicles in the morning you all need to get over because many RVs, tow vehicles and other conversions are diesel vehicles and they need to idle. You can't just jump in some of those rigs and take off. My diesel engine must idle at temps below 50 degrees and I usually have to idle some minutes for my air brakes to fill. That's the price you pay for camping on top of other people. You can't expect people to need to leave when you want them to just because you don't want to hear idling before they have to go. Now you all are just being ridiculous.

As a full timer over 5 1/2 years I am asked this question all the time and I hate being negative because I can find good things about everywhere but if I'm pressed I would go with California, Oklahoma and Illinois.
