A great way to stop a meltdown is with applied energistics 2, the spacial IO port is able to collect a reactor mid meltdown and safety store it just remember to grab the valuable blocks before storing the reactor

how do i find it

im having alot of troubles with this like only getting 1k power per tick and very high energy saturation. might just go with HBMS nuclear tech mods RBMK BUT IM NOT HATING the mod is very nice i really enjoy the armor tools and the chaos guardian
