I'm going to conduct this music on 12/28 in Taiwan.I just bought this sheet music two weeks ago and practiced it three times in rehearsals. It feels more and more beautiful every time. Great music.

Haha one of the bands in my school played this piece, and our principal voiced Santa, “HO HO NOOOOOOOOO”. It was honestly funny, you know you’re a band kid when you laugh at a joke that is written in the composition.

I’m in seventh grade and we’re playing all the songs from the project with our fifth through 12th grade bands and I am very excited because the songs from this project are all mental health related, and I love the message they all bring

As a baritone/euphonium, we have an identity crisis during this piece- because tell me why we play with the high people most of the piece 😔

I love the dark, eerie vibe the songs have compared to other Christmas songs. I would love to see a plot twist ware Santa the barbarian wasn’t really dead.

I played this sometime last week. I’m a second clarinet player and i sit in the front row so i could hear my band director doing the narration and MAN i do not know why but when he got to that one part and said ‘smash away, smash away’ smash away all.’ that has stuck with me since i cannot wait to play Son of Santa The Barbarian next year. Great job Randall!!
