Haha one of the bands in my school played this piece, and our principal voiced Santa, “HO HO NOOOOOOOOO”. It was honestly funny, you know you’re a band kid when you laugh at a joke that is written in the composition.

I’m a second clarinet player and i sit in the front row so i could hear my band director doing the narration and MAN i do not know why but when he got to that one part and said ‘smash away, smash away’ smash away all.’ that has stuck with me since i cannot wait to play Son of Santa The Barbarian next year.
