Our class is playing the entire symphony and it’s pretty easy once you get the hang of it. Very fun piece tho. My second fav out of the five after darkheart.

i was watching the MSBOA All-State band play this today and I actually started crying halfway through. Mr. Standridge was conducting and beforehand, he told the story about his mother and her journey with battling her mental health, and then he began describing his own. I felt as though I could understand them through the music.

Mr. Randall! Sir! Question!!! Ironically I played one of your other famous pieces Tanchozuru last year and when I realized Im playing this for my UIL competition it gave me a burning question: Is Tanchozuru and Brave Spirit connected?

We all played the og version of this piece last year in 6th grade, and i can say it was one of my favorite pieces ever. Now in 7th grade were also playing some of ur songs like adrenaline engines, or darklands march. My band director said that most likely we will play this piece next year, to kinda reflect and look back on how far we have grown in just 2 years! Super excited!😄
