Hi, I tried this with my 2014 i20. 5x 10mm nuts in a line then another 3x 10mm nuts. The spoiler wouldn't budge on the side closest to the roof/front. Do you think I just need to give it a bit of encouragement? Feels like glue or dirt but worried it is a clip of some sort? Cheers, Allan

At least one other has reported that their spoiler had a couple extra bolts and was glued down with silicone. Check for additional bolts first. If you can't find any, it may just be glued down. Get yourself a plastic knife (or something similarly rigid but unlikely to scratch the paint) and see if you can work it between the spoiler and the body while putting gentle upward pressure on the spoiler from one side and see if you can break it free. That's all the advice I have at the moment.

Wanted to say thanks for the video. Although I got a different Hyundai model, the procedure was similar, just a few more screws. But the real surprise was that the sloiler was glued with a silicone / glue stripe we had to cut with a knife in the middle to release it. We screwed things back without glueing it so I hope it had nothing to do with liquid protection
