Solink is running a promo on their budget brushless which makes it even cheaper than this. From my experience they are more ETU compatible as well.

Yea, it's t238s legal disclaimer. They asked I put it in the description. I used Levi in this vid. We've spoke in the ASM discord about the response briefly, so u knew this. Sorry, no harm ment by me either, just found it a bit rude.

i dont have a titan to try, but with brushless mode it should. but beware, it will void your warranty. i use perun and leviathan no problem, but still voids the warranty.

How do you rank it vs the T238 silver and the paragon ?

Honestly, I would grab a blue over the silvers unless you need the adjustable speed. The Paragon motor is sold out, but from what I can tell it has custom, hand done windings, a pretty can and tower, and the new processor t238 is using on the new blues and new gen silvers. At 80 bucks you can't beat them without running into huge diminished returns. The Solink v5 offers the unidirectional bearing, but is 100 more + the cost of the programing card, so like 220 total.

I was EXTREAMLY impressed by what t238 brought to the table as a budget option to brushless airsoft motors. would honestly recommend it 10/10

some of these motors make a ticking noise, i can cause it to happen when i alter the rof with levi on non brushless mode, but if its on brushless mode rof works great, the tick in my motor goes away quickly, while others report the tick no matter what.

a perun or titan is needed to use an air break. if you want to use levi or aster the sector gear must be split and the bottom half rotated 180 degrees so the cut off cam is at the end of the cycle ensuring the sector doesn't rotate in the way of the piston at the end of the cycle.

yea, building airsoft guns brings a fun mechanical challenge. lots of expensive moving parts in these as well lol. at least the ammo is cheaper.

these are the solink 13:1 lightened helical gears on the first t238 i bought. it was off amazon almost 2yrs ago, says 33k but running a bit faster.

I hope in a good way. Lol. Follow Paragon armorys shimming guide. Alot of the unwanted sound is removed when you shimm the motor to grip and tower to gb. The only thing I'd add to that vid is pay attention to sector gear height. It can wind up to high for shs pistons

yea, i took this pic to show what the gears looked like after cleaning them. there was lots of oily rust and lazer etching slag left on the gear. i had random things in the pic to show color.

Can someone please tell me how to swap my trigger, I recently bought a new trigger, dont know how to replace it, and cannot find any tutorials. Please give me a short explanation.

Disassemble your gun and remove the gear box from the reciever. Open gearbox, while doing this make sure no shims on the gears get out of place. After this it's a pretty straightforward swap. Just make sure all the shims were where they were when putting it back together. May have to re use the old trigger spring.

did you just jb weld it back together and leave no screws? cuz i had the same thing happen i didnt check the screws and they came loose and stripped

i use'd new screws when i jb welded it to gether. i have also jb welded a sr25 sector with no screws and it lasted. you should be good just let it cure for a good 48hrs

i didn't get to chrono it. put a couple mags threw it and when i switched to binary it pme'd into shearing a spur axle. was great while it lasted tho.

lol, i may have gotten the last 2 useable dsg sets from stampedetatical for 145. seigetek's websites says: Due to various disruptions to our manufacturing capabilities, there is currently no ETA for our out of stock gear sets until everything is resolved. for 30 bucks these solink gears are very nice. noticeably nicer then shs/rocket. the bevel has tons of room for shimming. just wash the protective oil off before using them and lock tite the sector gear screws.

@@TotshotAirsoftthen explain the helical 13:1's prtty sure thats not shs. i got a set them also but they require a lot of room for shimming and all my gearboxes have ezo bearings. gonna get sum flt bushings n retry them sum time later. i thought the ezo's would be stronk enough to handle the axle load but the play in the bearings just doesn't let them mesh well under load. 10/10 quality tho.

@@TotshotAirsoftyea, the parts world is weird. But solink also has slim brushless motors which are the first Ive seem. I truly don't believe shs is solink OEM. Maybe ko ventures. The OEM for warhead. I recall warhead posting about gears they had coming out that never saw the light of day that had similar packaging to the solinks. Not to mention warhead went quiet like a yr ago

@@tipzy7730There's not that many OEMs for airsoft parts, Solink gears might very well be made by the same factory as SHS, just to a higher standard. I'm not familiar with gear cutting though, might be that they're buying them from a different place so that they can get them helical cut, or have the machinery to cut them themselves. Doesn't really matter in the end, they're better gears for a similar price.
