when i played trumpet in high school i loved orchestra... compared to band it was a freaking vacation. Let the violins do all the work and then show up 4 pages in for a couple of toots hahaa it was aces.

I played this piece at the Southeastern Michigan Solo and Ensemble Competition in 1976. It was transcribed by Robert Marsteller. The music cost $3.00; I have it here in front of me. Not this well of course......
