Manually is the only way ive ever mounted printing plates . btw y'all didn't need to use that much sticky-back to mount that narrow plate .

That sounds ok with lining up the registration but its not acceptable for a running press proof for a major account. You have to show pressproof and sign off for a running speed registration QC approval. THEN is when you count your footage ran. if you can do 4 color process under 300 ft then your good. My trick is after your gears are close register to Magenta not yellow.

Roberto, good replies. Can you explain what do you mean by this ? "Ghosting happens when you have your impression's too far towards your impression cylinder. "

perfect impression Hmmm.. so many factors not covered in this video. correct sticky back for the job. i would not have chosen 3 m 1015 for a screen job.1115e would be better.

You made sure your up and down was correct but did not set your back and forward adjustment. A perfect impression does not just consist of making your bearers print you have to make sure you are hitting the anilox and your substrate at the same time. You have to understand the difference between ghosting and drop out. Ghosting happens when you have your impression's too far towards your impression cylinder. Hopefully you go into a little more detail with your students than you did in this video.
