Hi I have a intermittent fault on myne. Sometimes I when i turn the ignition on I have a amber flashing key. If u switch off and back on again it goes off and the car starts... Any ideas?

I heard this only works for like 20 key cycles. After that it reactivates.

Does the write to eis function erase it too first,then write to it,i never saw you press erase eis?

Is this just a more reliable way of getting the eis read,rather than just connecting up the wires onto the connector pins of the eis without taking the pcb out?Or does hard wiring it by soldering give you more information?
