I have immediately applied your first advice and seen a lot of improvement! Before watching this video, I was overwhelmed solving all of the practice questions in a chapter and thought I was working hard. But in reality, I learned a little from my mistakes. After finishing a whole chapter in just shot, I didn't feel like reviewing my mistakes. And whenever I reviewed after finishing the whole chapter, I couldn't recall why I answered that option. After watching this video, I tried 5-questions-per-attempt method, and was clearly understanding every lessons. Thanks! May God bless you. ❤️

IR question about brazil and Russia at 15:00 , Does close proximity to Museum mean More people visiting museum ? It can also mean People there are not interested or not much to see there, etc
@SharpMindsGMATPrep3 жыл бұрын
You are right in saying that close proximity to a museum does not necessarily mean that more people visit the museum. However, it can be a good logical explanation as to why more people in that region visit museums compared to other regions. The question is asking us to give a possible explanation for the phenomenon, and this one fits. In this question type, you have to choose as your answer one of the possible factors that can lead to the data seen in the table. We are not saying: If X (option) Then 'Necessarily Y' (data in table) Instead we have to ask: If Y (data in table), then 'Could it be because of X' (option)? Hope this clarifies.

For hard GMAT questions, you can refer to GMAT Official Advanced Questions guide. This book contains 300 questions, all of high difficulty level. You can get a preview of the book here: www.google.co.in/books/edition/GMAT_Official_Advanced_Questions/hzWsDwAAQBAJ?hl=en&gbpv=1&printsec=frontcover

How is the number of natural history museums per capita related to the percentage of people visiting these museums? It is possible Russia has the highest number of museums per capita, but people don't visit them as much as other countries. So, I think the second statement's answer should be 'would not help explain'. Table variant type 2, second statement.
@SharpMindsGMATPrep3 жыл бұрын
Let's say you have a data table which shows that Peter scored the highest marks in his class in Subject A. You have to provide a possible explanation for the same. There is an option that says: Peter put in more hours than any of his classmates in preparing for Subject A Does the above help explain the data in the table? The answer is Yes, it does While we can argue that putting in maximum number of hours does not necessarily mean getting the highest marks, or that quality of prep matters more than quantity, or that Peter might have cheated, the explanation given is still a good one. So in the question discussed in the video, you have to look at the correct option as a possible explanation. It need not be the only explanation, nor does it always have to follow. All we have to check is whether it is logical or not to connect the option with the data Hope this helps.

is the level same in the real exam as shown in the video or more or less?
@SharpMindsGMATPrep3 жыл бұрын
The questions discussed in the video are from the official GMAT website mba.com hence they are very representative of actual questions. In any case, not all 12 questions in the IR section of the exam will have the same difficulty level, so a couple of questions are likely to be harder and a few others easier as well.

I want to which OG should I start from for 2021, there are 3 books I have gotten.
@SharpMindsGMATPrep3 жыл бұрын
It does not matter which of the 3 books you start with because the questions don't overlap. Moreover, each book has the same structure: topic overview, then easy questions first, then moderate, and finally hard. The only difference is that two of the books are dedicated to the quant and verbal sections, and the main GMAT official guide contains both.

Genuinely.. can test-takers go through so much analysis in under 2 minutes, including reading the question?!
@SharpMindsGMATPrep4 жыл бұрын
This question is among the hardest CR questions officially available and only a small percentage of aspirants get it right. Hence the explanation given in the video is very detailed, so that candidates who have chosen the incorrect answer are able to understand what's wrong with their choice. In any case, Critical Reasoning questions such as this one will likely take 3 to 3.5 minutes to answer, and one should be willing to devote this much time to such questions.

Hi.. I think E is the best choice! Firstly, the reason to rule out option is not 100 percent correct.. The government has just introduced this law.. Hence, checking the ratio from past is definitely significant! It is definitely going to impact current and future scenario! Secondly, Option B States about number of applicants... Not the number of Teachers... Let's assume schools recruit 20 teachers required every year, and law mandates additional 10 only.. Then, no. of applicants may be 100 or may be 50 or 150, it's shouldn't matter as long as teacher Student ratio is well within limits! My point is, number of applicants doesn't really matter! What matters is buffer that is available with each teacher... Hence, knowing the past records is crucial in determining how much buffer can be available to meet the law requirements! Please correct if there's any flaw in my logic!
