do you have any high idle issues? just got my first truck and it's a 91 S10 with a high idle and I cant figure it out, also Love the sound, think I'm gonna have to get me some Flowmasters
@LS1sLegoGarage6 ай бұрын
High idle can be a couple different issues. It can be the computer trying to re learn a tune if the battery was removed recently. But likely issues would be idle air control valve, map sensor, or vacuum leaks. If it's throwing a check engine light use an obd1 reader and it should tell you which one it is most likely. Hope this helps!

@LS1sLegoGarage Yes hi from CALIFORNIA SoCal. I did the same with my 67 Buick Special Deluxe bought new by my great grandparents. I had duals installed with H pipe cutouts and Flowmaster 40s with factory correct hangers. It's also a 225 V6 odd fire with the 2 speed switch pitch converter.
@LS1sLegoGarage3 күн бұрын
@thomasthurston6656 that sounds like an awesome build. I bet it had an amazing sound being an oddfire
@thomasthurston66563 күн бұрын
@LS1sLegoGarage It sounds much bigger than it is. I think it's a 2.93 rear that didn't help in the 1/4 mile when I ran at LACR and Pomona. Both times, I had the old exhaust with points, did nothing drove about 60 miles to LACR ran 18s. Pomona is about 25 miles, and it ran about the same. It's more of a freeway car it doesn't even work at 80 on the SoCal freeways.

Yeah the intro is fine, but you should get to the point of the video before talking about how most of us do not stick around through the whole video or skip through it, or how most of us are not subscribed. This is precisely the reason why people don’t stick around, lol. The beginning of the video is the most important. Maybe do announcements at the end of the video.

@dominicklipari Жыл бұрын
Not to nickpick but true duals is an exhaust that has an exhaust out if each head that never connects You have an h pipe so its just a catless h pipe into whatever mufflers you have
@LS1sLegoGarage Жыл бұрын
True duals just means they each have their own individual pipes for the entirety of the system
@dominicklipari Жыл бұрын
@@LS1sLegoGarage Yes that's what I said but less complicated An h pipe crosses them over making them no longer independent "Independent" was the word I couldn't come up with
@LS1sLegoGarage Жыл бұрын
Them not being independent doesn't make them not true duals. If they joined in a muffler then that would be a little different or if they went into 1 pipe at some point. It's a passive crossover so it still makes it true duals.
@c-dawg214510 ай бұрын
@@LS1sLegoGarageIt’s not a passive crossover, it allows the exchange of exhaust pulses between the two pipes. It’s actually better for power, and it does change the sound. So no, not true duals, but still cool
@Drunken_Hamster6 күн бұрын
Really tired of this confusing terminology. Use "divorced duals" for that or "true dual, no crossover" since H and X pipes cross the two banks.

@@LS1sLegoGarage Sweet! I have an S10 with the factory exhaust and I’m wondering if I should do anything with it. It’s a nice 04 crew cab with low miles and I don’t mind it being stock, but if I can get a mean sounding 4.3 I might do it. Did you do all the work yourself?
@LS1sLegoGarage Жыл бұрын
Unfortunately no, I paid a local shop to do it. You can do a muffler swap a get a good sound but if you want an aggressive s10 true duals with an H pipe cross over and 40 series Flowmaster will give you what you want if you're looking for somewhat loud but not a lot of drone anything else and you prolly want flowfx or 50 series Flowmaster
