Ive dislocated my shoulder 10+ times climbing, snowboarding, rope jumping into the river, doing pull ups, lifting but never gone to the hospital and put it back myself. But this morning at 3am it just wouldnt go back in for 20mins which was the longest time ever and I was sweating like a mf.. found this channel which saved my life.

Thank you so much! It worked! My dad managed to readjust my shoulder following the instructions in this video. Going to the hospital and waiting in the ER room for hours with this unbearable pain (again) seemed unreal to me. Btw I’m an adult and it was my decision to find this video and try doing it at home so no child negligence occurred. I do not recommend this if going to the ER is not an issue for you.

Seriously Did my own reduction after my shoulder dislocated from a fall from my horse. Just gripped back of horse trailer and let my body go limp. Popped right in. No doctor needed. Little to no pain. Much quicker than all this

Thank you so much! This worked, poped right back in. Just need patience, move slowly, and maintain traction. Your teaching helped so much. Thanks again.

Stimson procedure is the ONLY compassionate method of dislocated shoulder reduction. I get the impression that it is not as widely used as it once was because of time constraints. Way too many invasive procedures are predicated on efficiency of time, don’t throw a monkey wrench in the schedule.

Kudos to the doctor! Calm and described the technique very well. A mastet to his apprentice. Also the one who applied it. You listened and did it so well and reassuring.🎉

By the way… Just letting you know that your presentation fell on deaf ears. I have been in and out of all 3 of the ERs here in Saskatoon for the past 3 1/2+ years, and have been dismissed, humiliated, accused of being a junkie or a drug seeker, patronized, insulted, given HORRIBLE advice, and written off as likely having something 'gynecological', but for sure 'mental health issues' is all they will pin on me (undeservedly). I've seen at least 25 specialists now. I have finally come to my own breakthrough through relentless research; and I believe I have ACNES, with the underlying component being a rare, genetic mutation called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. I have a family member with the condition. Sadly, for me nobody really cares in this medical community… but most importantly - I can’t get any actual help here. I would love to hear if you had any real-life solutions to end my suffering.

I dislocated my left shoulder when I was 7YO. I was a tiny little girl back then when a big fat 6th grader fell onto me in the bouncy house during a fun fair at school. I didn't want to go to the hospital even tho I was in so much pain. One day my brother in-law said to me "Stop spoiling your pain just do it" just because I can't undress myself (Note: he didn't look at me when I'm undressed he just heard me because I was moaning in pain to my sister). But I did what he told me and I put my hand up and it popped back in place.

1 in 20 people have one or more of these 'syndromes' (I'll leave that there for now...) and so 1 in 20 people have borderline personality disorder?! No. Time to redo this presentation to add in viral causation, actual physical disorders that BC doctors are not taking the time to diagnose. I had 8 years of pelvic pain after a uterine ablation and was discounted by 3 BC gynos.... I moved to NY and the gyno there actually listened, did testing, (oh so out there to do a vaginal ultrasound to diagnose womens issues!!!) And found the issue (yes a Kamloops gyno had botched the ablation and my uterus was scar tissue and I had ovarian cysts and endometriosis on all organs. That doctor did a beautiful job of my full hysterectomy and pain free for 10 years! Off pain killers. Stop writing people off. I have run 3 businesses, had a top computer scientist career, parented 3 sons (absent father) and helped with my grands. Yes I've had trauma as an adult and yes I have had medically induced issues, medication and hormones. Viruses and just a really hard successful life filled with adversity, successes and love. Walk a mile in my shoes. I still manage my life with Lyme, ME, and a brain injury and years of medicine that has had side effects. Borderline personality disorder???? I have lived 5 beautiful lifetimes in this one. Now I have to say this dr is helping chronically ill people and for the most part seems empathetic but i don't agree with everything he is doing and he is making a good living at home running group msp covered topics. So basic I could teach them. They are also doling out medication, bleeding edge, read the side effects. Another bandaid. I hope now with long covid patients who they have figured out, (like me, but no one asked), lived a vital, fast paced, productive life before getting suddenly, inexplicably ill. I feel for you all and stop discounting patients. Get wise! Get real!
