A truly iconic Japanese car - one of my neighbors had one when I was a very young child and the last time I recall seeing one in the wild was on my last visit to Puerto Rico in 2004 when there was one parked in front of a house close to the guest house where I was staying. It looked like it hadn't moved for a while but it still looked in good shape.
Sorprende que éste gran avión de combate haya surgido desde un hidro, el Kyofu..!!

Beatiful job my friend! Watching here in Detroit! What do you use for metal antenna, can I order Amazon?
@zensmodelingstudio50344 ай бұрын
Thank you for your comment! I used "Metal rigging #0.1(0.06mm)" released by Modelkasten. I purchased it from Amazon Japan, but I am not sure its availability in other countries.

Yeah..... it's perfect. 😂 why not show cutting some very delicate MiniArt items from a sprue? Cutting standard parts that will not break is not really impressive. Cutting 3d print supports? Is that so special? It's more a tellsell video than anything else.

And by the way can you use any type of sandpaper after fulling the putty?
@zensmodelingstudio50345 ай бұрын
Thank you for watching. I think sandpaper is better to use between 400-1500 grit and water resistant. In this video, I wet the surface to prevent scattering of sanding debris.

I'm building one of these just now & really like the magnet idea for the under wing things. How did you secure the magnets in place?
@zensmodelingstudio50345 ай бұрын
Thank you for your comment. I used Tamiya CA Cement (Item No.87139) for secure, but some of the pieces fit just right, so I just put them in as they were.

Finally got a chance to finish watching your build. Wow! Reminds me that I have a Hasagawa D model to finish. Plans are to give it to my step dad. He worked on the 1:1 scale while he was active duty in the USAF. The same airframe followed him to Homestead and Carswell AFBs while in the Reserves.

Nice build! Only question I have is I see more and more models being built with the insignias painted on versus using the decals. What is the advantage of doing this?
@zensmodelingstudio503410 ай бұрын
Thank you for your comment. I feel that painting the insignias makes weathering easier and the finish more natural. Decals are useful, but I think it is difficult to blend them in with the weathered fuselage because they hide the underlying surface.
@phayzyre105210 ай бұрын
@@zensmodelingstudio5034 Gotcha! I was just curious and that does seem like a better technique when it comes to weathering. I may have to give it a try sometime. 👍🙂
