The violin is required to follow the protagonist. Although the violin sounded sweet, the fact that it drowned the play of the main artist at the end of the keerthanai, I found was intrusive and disrespectful. While Mr Venkataramana may have dealt with it gracefully and the violinist was fully taken in and consumed by the tempo, it was the concert of the Harmonium after all. The violinist must have played certainly the second ‘fiddle’

When the year Sangitha Kalanidhi was conferred on Tamil Thyagayya PAPANASAM SIVAN, he was waiting outside the Music Academy to go to his residence since he didn't own any Car, for a Auto, T. Sadasivam and MS AMMA had suddenly seen his plight and immediately they invited Sivan in their car and dropped him in his residence at Mylapore. All the three are great Souls.
