I was hoping to find a dystopian oddity that was shown in the 80's that ended with a pull string doll saying "I want" over and over. I think it was about people living in a shared household after a natural disaster in the countryside in England, the kids had never seen the outside as greed and capitalism had caused the downfall of society or something, anyway, the adults atr something bad and started to die and the kids went off wandering then found a shed with postcards of city skyscrapers and toys, all the things they "wanted" they then started fighting over them and the cycle of greed starts again hence the "I want" dolly. Thought I would ask here as it sounds like a Doom Watch episode but I'm not sure, any ideas would be appreciated 👍

I found it, it was called Dark Enemy, a CFU film on channel 4 in 1984! Definitely not a Doom watch but it is on KZbin, finally I have closure 😂

Every time I listen to this, it’s just like something new another word another another truck onward I think it’s truly beautiful.
