Looks like a thoughly amazing model kit. I've built a few Trumpeter 1/200 model ships, and they all have the big separate boxs, A,B,C etc. What I found is that most of the steps in the instructions use parts from the many separate boxes, and NOT from just A box or B box etc. It would have been nice if they could do that but you would end up with many more individual boxes instead of just a few, and the entire kit box would be 3 times bigger. Have fun with this one! Greyhound is a great movie, and a great story.

Hi Paul, Are you sure that mini vice is a DSPIAE one?... Looked on their web site and theirs does not have a red knob and has a different top with a cut out on it, and no holes for the little pins.... Also theirs is laser engraved 'DSPIAE'.. I didn't see that on the one you got..

Can that precision knife accept bigger blades? Like regular xacto sized? I was going to get the aluminum knife but I kept having nightmares of it rolling into my lap. That's why I think that other knife uses plastic for the triangle grip. Metal always looks and feels nicer but I was afraid of myself, haha.

I have one of these! Got it from a crafter on ebay over ten years ago. It's heavy! It feels and looks like it's brass or brass coated under the paint. Where yours has mint green/turquoise, mine has a lavender color. I shouldn't have spent over 300 for the thing, but I did. I have one of the Jim Beam bottles too (somewhere), but mine is the one with the little handle on it.
