I swear this track was my lifeline during my master's. Countless times, after procrastinating way too much, I'd find myself staring at a blank page with just 12 hours left before a 1500-word essay deadline. But the moment I put 'Nightlistener' on repeat, I'd slip into a trance. I powered through literature review, research, and formulating hypotheses like a machine. A’s and B’s all the way :D

+Nikola Brody At some point, it may. But everything starts rather - small. If the right set of circumstances happen - the correct moment, time, and people, the thing - the video, or song, or whatever it is will grow to take on a life of it's own. The tipping point. It's a fascinating sociological anomaly.

@@formes2388 A bit of luck required sometimes. A big online image. Good looks. Some kind of niche drama. He killed a guy! She just got out of prison! Just think how many local producers there are with the apps nowdays. Hell even I could put some beats together. No as good but it locally takes away the limelight from the big tunes. What the obscurity does help is DJs.. only what, 10k people know this tune globally. You could throw this down at a festival and be the king!

There's quite a few DnB tracks that sample rock/ metal. Concord Dawn "Raining Blood" heavily takes from the Slayer song of the same name.

I love it exactly because of that .... good music is not defined by the number of sounds used in it - at least not for me :).
