There is a back rack that can be added. Unforunately this accessory has been sold out for months.

What is the maximum speed that can be reached while pedaling on the flat without assistance? Can you climb a slope with an empty battery?
@Rollingspoke
@Rollingspoke 4 ай бұрын
Max speed without assistance is around 30-35 KM/H. It’s quite manageable to ride without assistance IF you have speed. You can use the boost in stop and go traffic if riding in manual mode. Climbing any kind of a slope with an empty battery would be a real chore. A hill would be a no-go.

Does winter rides affect lifetime and capacity of the battery?
@Rollingspoke
@Rollingspoke 10 ай бұрын
Depends on what you define as being winter. Living in the Netherlands, we rarely get temperatures below zero celsius. There is nothing in the manuals that would suggest as such.

@@EpicEvolution So you will have proper winters then :) I think it would be difficult to know if the cold is affecting the battery life or whether it’s the number of charges, as that will obviously go down after some time.

@@Rollingspoke well. I'll try to minimize seat heater and air conditioning to save some juice

It has an anti-theft system. The bike has no gears. When the power button is turned off by the rider, it can only be turned on again via the registered user app. Without the electrics, the bike cannot be ridden or pushed by hand as the 'walking assist' and ''manual mode' is defunct. The bike can only be lifted by hand and carried to a van or car but it is then pretty useless to a thief as it cannot be ridden - even as a 'fixie.'

Do you have to keep moving the pedals in order to use the throttle. or can you just keep your legs still and use the throttle to continue to coast? Awesome video!
@Rollingspoke
@Rollingspoke Жыл бұрын
You can coast for the most part, but you will eventually slow down if you don’t pedal at all.

Hoe rijd de fiets bergop? Zou er één willen kopen om naar het werk te rijden maar er zijn heel wat heuvels onderweg.
@Rollingspoke

Hij heeft een uitstekend koppel en vermogen, hij kan heuvels in de stad aan. Lange, landelijke heuvels, niet zo veel.

any idea where is the controller at?

No. There is nothing in the manual. If you need to service it, best to contact Honbike.

How would you compare this to the hornbike? And can this be bought on the UK?
@Rollingspoke
@Rollingspoke Жыл бұрын
Comparing it to the Honbike, it really comes down to preference (i.e. do you need range, hydraulics or mechanical disc brakes, top speed, etc.) For comfort and fun, I'd give the edge to Honbike. But if you maintain your bike yourself, the Urban may have a longer life as you can easily replace standard components and order a new battery for cheap. Honbike, parts need to be ordered through Honbike. If the battery goes, the bike will will have to be taken to a dealer that services Honbike. Ahooga can be shipped to the UK.

What the saddle like? Is it comfortable?
@Rollingspoke
@Rollingspoke Жыл бұрын
The saddle is quite comfortable. If you’re rides are longer than an hour, than you may want more support. But it can easily be swapped for something else.

Land of the free!! Lovely video, and with great music - thank you. I did many of the things shown in your video when I was a child in an Australian country town in the 1960s, and even as a teenager in Melbourne in the 70s.
