Sold as seen at carboots. Also breakages need to be paid for. Had one woman carefully pick up an item, look at it then threw it down, and it broke. I made her pay for it. She was not happy but it was a handcrafted resin snake that I had made and worth a fiver.

If you look at it from the lads point of view you could be the rude one if he was going to buy them 1st you took away his chance of making a deal with her at a lower price then standing watching or waiting by the way he was going on he could have been autistic. If you had them 1st then he tried them on he took the micky I would have been sick of my life finding out they were fake bet you wished you had left them

@@ramalama9650 I did sell it and it’s in the video a little latter on I believe. And I didn’t sell it for much, under £5 as it wasn’t uranium, just green glass

@@ramalama9650 no it wasn’t uranium as I tested it before selling. If it had been I wouldn’t have let it go as cheap. Always worth taking a little UV touch with you to test green glass when you’re out and about

@@ramalama9650 yeah that would make sense, although if you don’t know what it is then you probably wouldn’t know why it’s being tested lol I do have some uranium at home, couple very little bits, I usually try and get a collection together then sell as a job lot but it’s not something we often come across

I completely agree on the warranty thing. I would have happily paid that and if they weren't working either try and fix or sell on as spares/repair. I wish I knew where you sell as you seem to be a very honest and reasonable seller.

@@JMEbangingtunes That’s not how boot sales work, its not Currys or Argos. Ignore what any seller says and assume nothing works, then if it works it’s a bonus and have a sly snigger to yourself that you got one up on seller. If not working then repair or move them on for a small profit and go again. Why he didn’t resell them himself is his business.

I have to pay NMW and then I have to pay them for their time there because of some silly law that says if they don’t have means to leave I have to pay them for their time, so hiring someone for 6-7 hours will cost me £70. If I have a bad day they could walk away earning more than me 😵💫

It’s not about how much I make on a day, it’s about what I make a month, some days are better than others but as long as it evens itself out at the end of the month, daily take doesn’t matter to much

@@philliplowe5476 I don’t do a clearance deal at the end as most of it can go back on the van for next time, unless it’s big and bulky or I’ve had it a while then I usually let things go cheaper
