@slyc168 Жыл бұрын
Thanks so much for watching. I made a video on the chords for this song. Please check out kzbin.info/www/bejne/pKGxg556p7-motk. I played the C chord and G chord a little differently shown in the intro. I tried to make chord and lyrics videos and my own cover of the songs in pairs whenever I could. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you again!

@@slyc168 Are you running any effects in your Mustang?
@slyc168 Жыл бұрын
@@bobbys4327 I used the preset Bassman which is a pretty clean sound with just a little drive so most of the effect is coming from the Boss Distortion Pedal. I think the Mustang amp is awesome because of the presets. Thank you again!

@@slyc168 Not to give my age away but this song has very special meaning to me. Back in the day we had a garage band and our drummer could sing this song to perfection. Also, it was at that same time I went into the Army and became a Combat Medic. I look back and wonder where the time has gone. I’ve come to the conclusion that only the body grows old. You have a real talent. Cherish and use it wisely. I wish you peace and much success.

@@slyc168 Your passion shines through. I hear a bit of country in your version. It gives a nice twist to the song. I have a good ear for quality and listen to you several times. awesome, thank you so much. can you tell me how you are using the A chord and the Asus4? do you play one and then the other, or..? to me it felt kind of natural to keep playing the A chord even though I like the sound of the Asus4... but it's my first time playing through.
@slyc1682 жыл бұрын
I use my ring fingers sliding back and forth from the 2nd and 3rd fret of the B string 2 times during that chord section. So A-Asus-A- Asus. I also think playing A strait through this section sounds just fine too. I am planning on doing a guitar cover of this song soon. Thank you so much for watching and for your kind words!
