This the worstes prezantation I ever witnessed. So beautiful boat but the prezentation. Fast, no details, it seems like he is in rush. The cameraman is focusing on this guy but he should focus on the boat. very bad video.

FYI. If you have mercury joystick and use it as your autopilot the auto guidance feature will not work with Garmin.

it can do all that but it still cant tell you when you are approaching a no wake zone

IMO, a better method is to set your stern anchor first, then as you let out stern anchor rode drive the boat to where you want to drop the bow anchor, then back down on the bow anchor to set it. You should end up roughly halfway between your anchors with scope dependent on depth. Everyone stays nice and dry.

This is suppose to be a basic 101 class. You go through the windows to fast with out showing us what it button on the touch screen. Example on the Raider section you show us how to start the Radar on the side bar in the window, you show us what the 2 low buttons do then jump to something else without explaining what the other buttons/option on the Radar side bar do or are used for. For me wetting up the radar on my new 8612 has been hard to due as on the screen the whole thing lights up with differant color fill and I cant figure out what it represents.

PLEASE!! NEVER TOUCH ANY BUTTON WITHOUT TELLING US WHICH ONE IT IS. YOUR FINGERS FLY AROUND THE SCREEN AND I HAVE NO IDEA WHICH BUTTON YOU JUST PUSHED. YOU KNOW, BUT TO A FIRST TIME VIEWER UNFAMILIAR WITH THE EQPT IT MAKES THE VIDEO USELESS.

The fortress aluminum anchor is too light to stay dug in under any challenging conditions. An anchor must have a decent amount of weight to be effective.

Not really, but it's a common misconception. Fortress is good in sand and certain mud, not so much in grass or hard bottoms. It's typically much bigger than your main anchor, because it's lighter, you can take a larger size. Many boaters use it as a storm anchor by oversizing it. It's the width of the flukes that creates the holding power. If you truly think weight is the main component, try a mushroom anchor of 40kg with a 15 ton boat

Hi Rick - the 273 comes standard with an 82 gal pump out fish box, located centerline in floor in the bow area. Additionally, she offers ample space if more is needed for fish bags, etc., depending on what you're targeting!

Is there away to make a quick mark such as an x on fishing chart that will show on a specific spot when you hook up with a fish without having to push way point or pushing mob. Can't seem to find any info on that
