Have you ever laced them to where they could still be tied at the end? Rather than just have them hang at the end? I do appreciate your video! Just got a pair today!

Great easy to follow video, I like bar laces as creates a much neater profile of the shoe or trainer.

You are NOT 5,3 stop, the cap 🧢. First I identified the chairs which I found the exact model of 3000 Series School Chair - 18" Seat Height and after identifying the camera warps I’ve came to find out that she is 3.254 chairs tall. I ended up calculating that she was 60.57 inches tall. Subtract 1 inch for the shoes which I also found the exact model of and 0.06 for the socks, I would end up finding that she was 153.77 centimeters or 5’0.54 in freedom units. That’s probably wrong and I’m not actually calling you 5’0.54 I was just bored

Thankyou! I just got my first pair of docs a week ago, and after stuffing them with an old flannel shirt for a few days and conditioning them, I tried them on and was confused as to why the way I had tied them didn't feel quite right! I'm Autistic so visual instructions are easier for me to understand, and your video was the only tutorial I found that I could actually follow, so thankyou very much.

Never had a pair of doc martens but was checking out the soft leather version. I assume that these issues only happen with the classic hard leather type ………….. I had a pair of echo black boots years ago spent last 7 years trying to find a pair as comfortable I ware them till the heels literally started to crumble of my feet about 9 years into wearing them every winter/autumn. Hopefully soft docs will be a solution……..time will tell. Love idea of using sanitary pad in ankle great tip 😊 especially if you wearing any boot/hiking boots etc and you caught out on a long walk …… I once ware a pair of timberland my mum sent me they looked great and I loved them even though they tightish but by time I got near home I had to take them off and hobble down lane in socks only. Unfortunately those boots caused a callous/ corn in soft part of my ankle after blister healed that took several years of removing to eventually not return. So since then I am careful to avoid poorly fitting footwear.

In my experience its the leather that needa breaking in not the cork. I own suede and leather birks and suede does not need breaking in.
