I revently saw an episode of Voyager. Janeway meets an old man who was somewhat insane and a goofball. No one took him seriously. It is later revealed he lost his daughter and wife to the soldiers in that planet and he eventually lost himself until Janeway showed up. He reminded me of Bad Ape.

I feel like bad apes silliness and manorisms are just a defense mechanism to protect himself from what hes been through.

Bad ape here is into another level dude... from a Clown to a true survivor in pain but with strenght and charisma!

If other apes in the world became rational, like Caesar's colony, this means that the original habitats of apes, such as Africa and East Asia, would become full of colonies!
