Prof jasak is funny and strict. Maybe he is not so famous as any celebrity but in CFD world he is a celebrity. 🙂👍 Love his lectures. Late 2022 but still old is still gold

sorry what is the dimension of fvm::div(phi, T)? what will be the difinition of phi here? in momentum equation case case it will be volumetric fluxs/mass flux and its unit will be m^3/s and kg/s respectively.

kindly i have some Questions if you explain what is initial and final residual? what is the difference b/w tolerance & relTol? also sir what does this shows pFinal { $p; relTol 0; } why we use this for P and not for others i.e U,T etc?

Dear sir, residual is the error in the solution. Tolerance (Acceptable level of error )is the value given by the user. Refer UserGuide for Openfoam foam.sourceforge.net/docs/Guides-a4/OpenFOAMUserGuide-A4.pdf

Thank you for this great introduction to using a program that really intimidated me. This makes it so much better to learn OpenFOAM. Is it possible to get the case files in any way? Learning hands-on by running the case file as I watched the video would be very helpful.

Hmm, I believe the test cases were also provided at wikkiltd.com/s/2uZaBOn2CAKXd3v, but it seems like they are not there (anymore)... I'll ask for an update on that.

@57.44 min the value for inlet patch should also be reset to inlet { type fixedValue; value $inValue; } Edit: Nevermind the simpleFoam does give an error later! I am in love with these set of videos! There are powerful in conveying the topics. Thanks a lot!
