UberEats been doing this for past few years I’ve noticed base pay dropped on bigger tipping orders looks like they also skimming off the tips as well

And they’re ticked off that they even gave you $1.25 per delivery. If it was up to them, you’d work for free. And there is cases where you probably do work for free, such as a customer tips you $10.00, the pay breakdown may say DoorDash pay $2.00, customer tip $8.00. I think they probably do that a lot.

I had to laugh when you were talking about the 10 miles order through corn fields, this is the type of area that I live in and everything around my main zone. Newbie and only gotten one order so far, 15 miles for $15 and I took it just to get my first order under my belt. That was last week and did not dash along the way again, or at all since schedule was full for the week. On the schedule all next week during lunch rush only and hope it is better. At least that one order got me to 100%... lol
