Hi! Did you use any pass when you diy travel from nanzoin to dazaifu? was it very tiring to squeeze in both places in one day? Will be traveling to fukuoka next week with my senior mom hehehe!! Love your content!

Thanks for watching! I'm glad you loved it. We didn't use any passes, just our IC cards (Toica and Pasmo), which are accepted on the trainlines and the bus to Dazaifu. It's totally doable to visit both places in one day. We took our time and never felt rushed. There are a few flights of stairs in Nanzoin, but they're spread out, so you can rest in between. If you take the bus to Dazaifu, it’s about a 40-minute ride-perfect for a quick nap. In Dazaifu, you can easily explore the main hall and its surroundings. But, if you head to Tenkai Inari Shrine, be prepared for quite a bit of climbing.

do you have review for toyo hotel? We will be also staying there soon in October. 😊

The hotel is quite nice but the room is small (typical for a business hotel). Did you book through Booking.com as well? Make sure to select a non-smoking room. We forgot to do that and ended up in a smoking room, which had a very strong smell that made it hard to sleep. Fortunately, the staff were helpful and moved us to an available non-smoking room the next day. Did you get the room with free breakfast? The breakfast includes traditional Japanese food like rice, soft-boiled egg, soup, salad, fried items, and fish.

@@cloudscape-ng Hi, I book a double non smoking room. I did not include breakfast though. Can a large luggage can be opens in the room and one small?

@@cloudscape-ng can staff speak basic english? or we need a translator in communicating? 😊
@cloudscape-ng28 күн бұрын
@@nazt499 Yes, in our case, we managed to open our large luggage, but it was on the floor, partially blocking the path to the door.

@@nazt499 Yes, they understand us when we speak in English and can reply in basic English. Installing Google Lens is a great idea; it’s handy for translating Japanese to English by simply taking a picture.

Nice edit. I’m here in Fukuoka now and I’m currently on my 3rd day. We almost have the same itinerary. 1st day i went for ramen dinner. 2nd day I started in Fukuoka Castle and Ohori Park then Nanzoin Temple then Dazaifu then had Gyukatsu for lunch-ish. Dinner I was supposed to Ichiran but the line is too long. I had it for breakfast now instead.

Hi po, same taxi post Mag accept Silas visa/mastercard?
@cloudscape-ng2 ай бұрын
Hi nazt499, Thank you for watching. The taxi we got is a premium one (I think it's also an Uber Taxi), and there’s a sticker on the window indicating that it accepts Visa, MasterCard, Amex, and JCB. We paid in cash though.
@nazt4992 ай бұрын
@@cloudscape-ng how to you identify that the taxi is premium or not?
@cloudscape-ngАй бұрын
@@nazt499 I’m not 100% sure on this, but I think the premium taxis are the black 5-door MPV style ones, while the regular taxis are the older, boxy Toyota Crown Comfort models.
