0:22 Welina Welina, welcome to these open arms of mine, Let me fill you with such love divine, Welina, Welina. Welina, welcome to these islands in the sun, a life in paradise has just begun, Welina, aloha Welina. I can hear the sound of a distant conch shell, So let the pahu drums reveal a universe so near Nearer than this heart of mine can tell. Welina, you and you alone can make it be, So come and take your place here next to me, Welina, aloha Welina. I grad Kailua High with Cyril… My mom always liked Bla more than me… honest… parents would travel back to Kailua to see my Aunt… Unk brought natural-gas carburetors to Hawai’ian Gas, late 1960s. The whole Pahinui Family was so Amazing… delightful! So much music lost. So much Joy in their sonic memories… thanks guys… never said it enough as a kid. Riley Jackson
