David’s presence in spite of that guy’s obvious opacity … David is so kind and humble yet being the coolest kid on the planet 🥰

Going back to Missoula now. I am so happy he came to me in dreams... A great artist and human.

The host is putting way too much light on the director rather than the actor he is interviewing. It's like talking about silver with gold sitting in front of you.

I was 15 when Wild At Heart came out. I saw it and it blew my mind. It took me from watching movies kind of superficially to realizing there could be so much mor to them that I didn't' even realize. I was so confused, but also enjoying every minute of that movie. Watched it multiple times totally fascinated.

Lynch's death makes poignant the truth that there aren't many if any unique men in creative spaces affecting the widespread culture. too many shallow yes men.

This did not cover enough David's relationship with philanthropy of the most extraordinary kind. His David Lynch Foundation funded the instruction in the Transcendental Meditation technique for millions of students in at-risk schools and inner city communities, as well as veterans with PTSD, abused women and native Americans. He gathered together dozens of practitioners of TM, such as Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Sting, Hugh Jackman, Katy Perry, Russell Brand and many others, to perform and raise money for his foundation. As a veteran, I know of thousands of men and women who benefited from Lynch's inspiration and wisdom. And his foundation is now funding programs globally. He will be missed, but his foundation's work will continue to enrich, inspire and enlighten millions of people -- in a way that expands minds and hearts, even more skillfully than his film-making prowess. David Lynch will live on in the lives of millions of people, and will continue to pave the way for a wise, loving and harmonious world.

Pretty expensive though for the average person to book a TM session at that Maharishi Foundation Lynch promoted. Cheapest session is about $450, for half an hour.

I found it very interesting that Blake was cast BEFORE he ... well... the things that happened. And the film is sometimes commented on by David as being partly inspired by the idea of a "psychogenic fugue" and the OJ Simpson ordeal.

Was Rose Maher's idol? Just wondering cos they have similar interview techniques. I.e, really good questions, the answer to which they can't wait to interrupt and attempt to answer themselves. It's so annoying. Especially with someone like Louis who is happy to provide extensive and educational responses.
Thank you i never seen this side of such sacred woman and my wish i had seen this in 2011 australia its 2024 and i fugure at least 16 years behind and triple it captivating beauty and my wanting to be just like you ... i had no idea i was a lil bit
