Several cracks in the block and the owner before us broke several casting mounts where the alternator and water pump bolted up to.

Just out of curiosity did y’all ever find the specific issue wrong with it?

Looked like a Cummins at first glance

Maybe you have a timing problem. How did you diagnose the sensor being bad? Test the resistance with a multimeter? Curious.

Good job, you just cause your brakes to leak, and it's because you used a C clamp on the bolt that holds the brake fluid line to the caliper. Behind that bolt is a copper seal washer and once you release the pressure on that bolt, it's very likely to leak. It would have easily been avoided by renting the caliper compressing tool from any auto part store 😂

At least until the bolt breaks off, just put a new cord on it
@taylortaylor-wg4kr4 ай бұрын
Just buy a new pull start, or re cord the old one?

fyi: a conductor cant hold a static charge, by definition. Anything left capacitors & such is gonna be gone as soon as you touch those wires, not sure what the 20 minutes is about.

Channel locks are super useful. I wish someone had taught me properly. Instead of always going for vice grips - my work would have been so much less frustrating over the years

I don’t have that tool but vise grips would be my second option if I did

Yes it is, but don't forget to do research or at least look to see if your car has a bleeder screw. If it does more than likely it won't be 100% bled unless you also use the bleeder screw. Don't take a chance at overheating and destroying your engine do it right. 2 out of the 3 cars I have have bleeder screws, use them they're there for a reason.
