Seems like a design floor. Dust and dirt can enter and collects at the vent flap. It would be better to have the flap at the front of the vehicle, but I guess that would create a few issues. Far from the kiss method.

A reminder that wd40 is in fact not a lubricant
@DeathGamer273 ай бұрын
Not entirely true, WD40 is a lubricant dissolved inside a solvent. So it will dissolve some oil, dirt, and grease, then displace any moisture and water, and finally lubricating it a little bit. That said, certainly better lubricants out there, but WD40 is better than nothing

The land is being systematically destroyed by over powered, over tired off-road vehicles. I have been an off-roader all of my life. I think people are getting tired of every dirt road being turned into a giant hole. This was bound to happen because of the damage occurring.

We also have to do our part on the off road side by policing our own. People aren't complaining about nothing. I used to ride a lot at anderson creek orv trails near ellijay GA but riders would NOT stay on the trails and started hill climbing which led to erosion and left trash everywhere. After years of closures to repair the erosions and local clubs doing cleanup the state finally said "screw-it" and closed it for good. As I've gotten older I quit going to parks that are just unruly, loud, rap concerts on muddy wheels. I look for parks with curfews...which there are only a few but even with those, the amount of trash and beer cans just thrown out (I've witnessed it) is just embarrassing coming from what I feel like is my people. I'm 30 min from one of the biggest and best riding experiences in north central fl. (as far as mud and trails) but I won't set foot on that place again. They just had their 4th fatality since 2019. We have to be honest and admit we're doing this to ourselves. Who would want to live next to straight piped quads, side by sides blaring the latest country-rap at ear drum splitting levels? I know I sounds like an old fart but part of being an old fart is you don't give a rip what other people think and you tend to be a straight shooter because of it.

Sounds like this senator lives next to an off road park. And doesn't like it. I've lived in this crooked ass state for 15 years now Alabama has a law or rule for everything. It's ridiculous. And if they don't have one. They will get one soon.

A similar situation or occurred on the chain of lakes waterway in northern Illinois. People who have nothing else better to do complained about all the local trailer parks, and there negative affect on the waterways. the owners of the private parks had to create an association to fight the people who are creating all the trouble. A bunch of rich assholes that didn’t even use the waterways.
@dogpatch755 ай бұрын
As population continually increases, water quality IS a big deal. You don't own the water that flows across your land. Anyone who invites off-road folks to come tear up their land should be free to do so, but they need to keep their mud on their property and be liable for any damage it causes downstream when it washes away. This issue is more complex than what is presented here. Instead of lambasting regulation as presented through propaganda, take the time to learn the true facts!

@@6gatornation In many states, the issues you raise were addressed decades ago! Protecting riparian zones from impact caused by farming, logging, and development is smart. Farmers, loggers, and builders always have the same pointless "its never been a problem" argument. Put in some common sense protection and watch water quality improve. Believe it or not, science-based planning for the future is not a liberal conspiracy concocted to take anyone's land from them!

It’s better for off-roaders to have a place to ride and gather. Without those locations their will definitely be more illegal riding on public roads, trespassing on privately owned property, with damage to those properties, erosion ect. Then the anti groups have more ammunition to support their cause. The privately owned atv parks maintain their own properties from entry fees. If they force closures of the parks the police will be very busy chasing down outlaw riders. Look at all the silly mess they have in the cities with atv riders in packs riding on public roads doing wheelies in traffic. Maybe the atv park riders should send the you tube videos of these groups riding on city streets whipping in and out of traffic so they can see what a real problem is instead of trying to control people legally having a good time.

If a law creates an issue with liability for private business then it is not enforceable and void. Plenty of case law for that. Going after the senator for willful destruction of private business via watch dog groups will also correct the behavior on their part.

Down here in Florida the rigs are getting too big with 40 inch tires, portals, lift kits. 10/15 years ago the trails were 60 inches wide. Now a full size truck could go down some of them and the holes you never know how deep they are. Thousand acres of trails slowly getting eaten. I have a 50 inch razor love trail riding.😎

The right people are not getting any benefit from this , think about the people that this helps to support, the money it brings into the community, all of this is going to be lost!!!!!! The mom and pop stores will close the restaurants will close the small gas stations will close, closing these off road parks is going to cost these communities everything, they are not just hurting the off road park land owner, they are hurting hundreds of people that depend on the people who enjoy these parks!!!!! Politicians never think about the little people when doing this stuff, their just helping some friend that is disgruntled because he is not getting any money from this or gets to have any control over this!!!!! Everyone knows it started by one person that was jealous because they didn't think of it first and are not getting anything from it!!!!!!!!!!
