Thats unlucky to get stuck there, they usually make it. Good work by the tow duo though.

I know it’s a great place. Please watch the kids so they don’t get into the major flow at the next bridge down. People have lost their lives there. 🫡☮️✨🇦🇺

@@JoelHaggis good point Joel, our kids are adults now but a great point for any with younger kids. The current is certainly a strong one. Pleasing to see a group of kids playing by the bridge were wearing floatation devices.

@ Yes the upper bridge is great for everyone. It is a really nice area to relax in general. It makes a great background for photos that last a lifetime as well.

Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment, 100% about the pressures, first time on the beach with this set up but would probably start at 20psi all around next time. The track in had us fooled on the way in with the rain the day before and little use before the Weekend it was a flat track. Love Bribie, been up for many visits and camped at Poverty Creek but first time camping on Ocean beach, will not be the last though.

Bummer about the panel damage. Car looks great though, I’m on the Sunny Coast, where did he get the blackout done?
@Lifestyle_BrisbaneАй бұрын
@@stevowyeth thanks for taking the time to watch and comment, we both got the chrome delete done at Loco Wraps in Redland Bay. Panel damage was just stupidity, we had been doing them back to back so we had control of the vans, he then turned around at the point it looked like I was getting into camp so without thinking hooked up the car and did a reverse snatch. Amazing how quickly they jack knife in sand, lessons learnt

Hey I'm thinking of going here for a week sometime this year, just wanted to ask what was the track like getting there once you left the road because i haven't had much sand experience and just want to make sure i wont be in over my head
@Lifestyle_Brisbane10 ай бұрын
The road in is about 15 minutes drive time, conditions will vary with weather, if it’s been wet sand is likely to be compact, if very dry and or hot likely to be very soft. Let your tyres down to 16-18psi and 4 wheel drive high should be fine. If you get stuck drop pressures to 12 psi - should be good, seen people tow caravans in there with no issues
