They can sound sincere, but if they don't actually mean it, it won't hurt the entities. 2) They started with assault teams because when they initially discovered the anomaly, it was actively releasing shadow creatures that were running around stealing people's hearts (and then because they were hoping that the second assault team might be able to rescue the first). 3) As a clarification, when the door is open, it can't be reached from outside. It can only be closed by someone on the inside. 4) The Foundation Star is essentially the Foundation's equivalent to the Medal of Honor. The best the Foundation could figure is that the D-Class found Agent Barclay's notes, went and destroyed the next, and likely died in the process (though writer Erazm wrote a story where he survived and made his way out: scp-wiki.wikidot.com/mr-parker). If so, his actions almost certainly saved a lot of people, and they were willing to recognize his sacrifice. 5) The art I believe came from the SCP Artwork called The Black Journal. Honestly, not my favorite interpretation of the shadow creatures. I always pictured them as just being vaguely humanoid black shapes.

Fun fact: William Afton isnt possessing springtrap because hes bound by the code of the suit see his victims who possess the classic animatronics can move freely and aren't bound by the code because they possess the suits Afton is lured by the audio because the spronglock suits were programmed to follow loud noises in case there were guest in other rooms they would follow the sound of the audio and automatically activate which is why he isnt lured by the audio when mangles in your office since if theres a noise louder than the audio the suits would follow the louder noise you can learn a LOT if you listen to phone guys audio logs in fnaf 3 thats also why he can speak in ffps because hes not possessing the suit he's just inside of the suit he's still "alive" persay Also the reason why Ennard doesnt say we and instead I is because his voice lines were made before sl came out and instead those lines were based off the teasers for SL so that's why to answer your question also yeah Ennard does give off Joker vibes
