ECM is a good branch, if you are getting this then this is good but you should float if you can get some other colleges or go with slide if you want that college but some other branch.

@@SanketTiwari JOSAA is over but I still have CSAB. Some other options that I have are NIT Trichy ICE, NIT Bhopal CSE(Home state), NIT Allahabad EE. Can you tell which among the above options is better?

If you only care about branches then take CSE otherwise go with the Trichy.

Both are equally good. But if you are more inclined towards CSE then only go with MNNIT otherwise Trichy would be a better option with ECE

Tier 2 IITs...? Like after the top 7-8 IITs it's tough to say about the core branches. You can prefer CSE in IIIT A or NIT A.

Scholarship or fee rebate.. Scholarship is given by Govt. Like for UP it's given by UP Govt. You can apply for it and on eligibility criteria you will get. I think at my time my friend got a full scholarship for his engineering. Also IIIT Lucknow is a good college to join with this branch, do consider other branches in NITs if possible or it's totally in your choice.

Sir ek correction jahan apne bola ki closing rank mnnit ka iiit se kam hai , wahan aap no. Of seats compare krna bhool gaye Iiit mai 250+ seats rehti hain it ki but mnnit mai other states mai around 70-80 seats hi hoti hain...

B/w IIIT A and MNNIT ... For college life you can go with MNNIT and IIIT is equally good but we can say college life and events are better in MNNIT.

i got a rank 4946 now i am cofused in opting ece at surathkal or cse at allahabad (mnnit or iiit), kanpur se belong krta hu islie parent allahabad force krenge and cse b milega udr but college life campus bilkul satisfying ni lgta muje allahabad ka islie mai surathkal prefer krra hu ece se , kya krna cahie ?? placement ke hisab se b allahabad better h 🙂🙂

Hey Kushagra, Please go with CSE in MNNIT as you rightly said placements are much better and campus life is also not that compromising.. But on the other hand the Surathkal campus is on another level.. But now you have to think about what really matters for you?? Is it placements or proper campus life?? I think NIT A toppers prefer krte hai quki placements or opportunity me itna fark nhi hai pr south jana padtha hai Trichy pr Surathkal k liye.
