The Gitrog Monster is kept in check in that if you exile the graveyard he normally dies and there's normally nothing he can do if such happens. Furthermore, he really only has Dakmor Salvage to combo with which still requires having things that can shuffle either from the graveyard into the library or shuffle the entire graveyard into the library. Life from the Loam can substitute but takes more things to make happen. Nadu Winged wisdom wants you to amass an army like white and target them like it's a fashion show! Access to counterspells and he can reset his ability. The Gitrog Monster can be fended off by a Tormods Crypt. Nadu Winged Wisdom has literally nothing to fear. i have more respect for Elsha of the Infinite and Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain.

I will be fair to say that Springheart nantuko is just word soup for the sake of being complicated. It probably had an elegant design earlier in the design process but they just lost the plot. Very easy to misunderstand.

That dockside extorionist player has no right to get upset, especially when the nadu player revealed a strix serenade.

Being salty in cEDH just means you are a sore loser. If you are playing "BY THE RULES," then you have every right to play whatever card you want. Run more removal in your decks.

Nadu is the classic simic deck that loses to a board wipe and a removal of the commander. Too bad cedh doesn't run board wipes :p
@Baneslayer886 ай бұрын
I agree, but there are board wipes like Toxic Deluge and in fact we (all 3 Nadus) lost to a Deluge from Tivit in the finals
@hellNo1166 ай бұрын
@@Baneslayer88 i know we have deluge, some may run damn and that weird rakdos one. the issue is that not every deck runs like 3 or 4 of them outside their tutors. which is fully logical. i would be surprised if some sacrificed 1 to 2 slots for board wipes. advancing our gameplan in cedh is number one priority. i believe the fact that we don't run that many board wipes is the reason this deck works so well.

Doc was being so salty. YO DUDE ITS THE RULES. They are separate triggers. He does each one individually because each reveal could change how he goes about resolution. Doc you’re a super mid player and give the format a bad name. Go back to 60 card formats you scrub.
@joshholmes13726 ай бұрын
Yeah, he CAN shortcut, but depending on what resolves the playlines shift. You should be trying to play quicker though, knowing you are playing a slower deck. People that pilot nadu will learn the lines quicker and get faster at piloting it.

People get nervous or toxic for some reason when they realize the game might be over soon . I still like to use the stack and priority correctly, but a lot of players enjoy shortcuts in what can be a 10-minute game. 🐦

@5:08 is there a reason why you didn't try to target nadu with the alchemist to get a trigger?
@fienddube6 ай бұрын
You want to keep alchemist untapped on all your opponents’ turns. If you target Nadu, then Alchemist is staying tapped until your turn (unless you’re referring to the opponent’s end step right before the Nadu player’s turn. In that case, he either forgot, or he wanted to keep Alchemist handy in case anyone tried removing Nadu. He could respond by untapping his talisman and countering or Chain of Vapor or whatever).
@ysendy70276 ай бұрын
@@fienddube i was referring opp end of turn before nadu player, he probably forgot, there is not many reason to not activate alchemist for the third time.
