They are cheaper than the overpriced overbuilt F-150's stuck on dealer lots. And unfortunately, Ford can't make enough of them. I got a used one. Hybrid model. Honestly front wheel drive is not a limiting factor. Gets 40 plus in the city and 33 plus on the interstate. There are quite a few used ones available. XLT is a better value than Lariat.
