I see trees of green, red roses too I see them bloom for me and you And I think to myself: What a wonderful world I see skies of blue and clouds of white The bright blessed days, the dark sacred night And I think to myself: What a wonderful world The colors of the rainbow, so pretty in the sky Are also on the faces of people going by I see friends shaking hands, saying: How do you do? They're really saying: I love you! I hear babies crying, I watch them grow They'll learn much more, than I'll never know And I think to myself: What a wonderful world Yes, I think to myself: What a wonderful world

In the year 1969, I was in the W.E.Greiner Yellowjacket band in Dallas TX. My sister and I played in that band back in the day. I was a trumpet player in the band and my sister played bass clarinet.

Stumbling across this performance was akin to seeing a long lost friend! I cried like a baby as I reminisced on every note crescendo and pause! I participated in performing Ovature in bFlat in HS, 1981. (Trumpet) Well done, young people..... Well done!

Remember playing this in eight grade county band haha! Oh, I’m so happy I finally found this song! Was the first time I was in an ensemble with other competent musicians; the part at around 3:00 legitimately made me cry with how beautiful live music could sound! What an amazing experience and nostalgic song 😃

I always thought this would be a great entrance tune for a marching band or drum and bugle corps.

Why on earth did he go Latin Bamboleo on a hot Bossa Nova melody that's meant to refresh into a beautiful jazz major.

This is the most unique set up for a jazz band I’ve ever seen, it’s interesting seeing the drum set in the middle

I played this piece in the U.S. Army Band program back in 1975-76. As a percussionist, I always like the interplay and percussion accents, although the 2/2 interlude in the middle is very nice.
