Not sure about the pyro fuse (Sbk) if that would have gone off there would be no dash lights as they are supplied by terminal 30 . Id say that there is an issue with the key being initialised to the car although they come pre programmed to the car they sometimes are a bit funny when trying to start first time . Try holding it up to the ring antenna on the right side of the steering column and try starting it also to see if the key is programmed to the car the central locking should work
@MickRebuilds4 күн бұрын
The central locking all works I did try holding it to the column still nothing.
@6920jonathan3 күн бұрын
@MickRebuilds yeh watched that back your getting ignition on so the key will be working . Looks like your not getting start signal to your starter motor the switch live runs through a multi plug on the left side of the engine bay near the coolant head tank make sure they haven't been damaged in the accident
@richlee55789 күн бұрын
Just subscribed it looks like an interesting video,if you go into the centre display and get up vehicle status it will show if the oil level is ok also when you change the oil have a look inside the oil filter element to see if theirs any metallic bits in there it tells you if the bearings are likely to be wearing,I don’t think that crash can be that far out and if it is which side is out could be both buy a body jack and give it a shove their only cheap off eBay,looking forward to next vid 🎉

Hi mate enjoying your vids. Done this myself years ago. Recommend (next time) winding the driveshaft but on a bit first and hitting that, or using a punch and hammer, or puller to separate the driveshaft from the hub 👍🏼Looking forward to the next m140 video, probably pyro fuse near battery.

@MickRebuilds Yeah that's a very good point I wasn't thinking, You're probably have to reprogram the battery system afterwards. BTW I think you need a new Pyrofuse too 👌
@sebastian636411 күн бұрын
I would check pyro fuse. Located in on the battery positive terminal
@TopDadCentre11 күн бұрын
100% pyro fuse assuming it doesn't have ghost. You can temporarily follow the positive cable down to the junction box, undo the positive cable from the junction box and you should be able to bypass the fuse by attaching the positive cable to the other side of the pyro fuse taking that out of the circuit. Car will start after doing this. Its a safety device which cuts off the power to the engine in the event of a crash. its a simple fix and doesn't cost a lot. Don't search for a bow M140i specific fuse as it will more than likely be the same as 116i but cost more. Just search for the part number and you should have a range of options. Also, I appreciate you making a video in the cold and rain! Thank you!
@MickRebuilds11 күн бұрын
I will give it a try fingers crossed 🤞 it works 🙏
@krichmdvl12 күн бұрын
Pyro fuse on positive side of battery terminal blown, it is located within the battery positive terminal. You can temporarily push it back into place or just change the positive battery cable lead to a unblown used genuine or new terminal.
