The R/T is a great mod platform if you want it to be but it's also a great streetcar and daily out of the box.

I was looking about a yr ago.I weighed my options. The hell cat nice, but to much.Scat the insurance went up,more on gas ,everyone is stealing them.80% used ones more then one owner,accident, or stolen. Saw a used RT 2500 miles went and drove it 2021.Was impressed, good sound,pick up, 50mph step on it and went.Made up my mind, unfortunately the dealer wantwd to play games.Went to another one, looking for a used low miles.Ended up with a last call 2023, exact car as the other plus this had sunroof and 502 miles on it.Payed less then the other one.Love it , can still have fun, have spun 2nd and 3rd going from 30 and hitting it.Will go sideways and still cautious in rain.Don" t really beat on it, do hit it once in awhile.But are alot of fun.370 375 hp 410 torque good choice if you want a 8.Plus in time if you want more can build it.

Congrats ! The C6 is an awesome platform, whether you utilize them bone stock or fully modded out, few can compare to the Overall Performance they offer, and once you take Price/Performance Ratio into Account, it is pretty much Game over for anything Else. 👍🏻

My Spider went in for repair last month and Fiat still has not sent the part in a month and still counting. Boycotting pizzas.

Also check the PCV valve. Mine was starting to clog at only 40k miles. It's cheap insurance. It's reasonable easy to get to. The dealers want to sell it to you as a system with the air/oil separator for $200 on the 124, but they list just the valve for the 500s so just order the 500 part for $10.

HE'S USING THE WRONG OIL. This engine has Fiat's MultiAir system which is very sensitive to oil. There's a weird Fiat spec ( MS12991) for the oil that you're taking chances if you don't use. DON'T ASSUME ANY 5W40 WILL DO. Only a few manufacturers meet it. I've heard of the MultiAir "block" going bad on a few of these so you're playing Russian roulette with other oil. Also I change more often (I do 5K as the system reminds you 6-7K). I use Pennzoil Euro Platinum full synthetic (decent price on Amazon), which has the spec. Obviously dealer oil will too and Chrysler/Dodge used these engines if you don't have a Fiat dealer around. NOTE: VALVOLINE USED TO HAVE AN OIL THAT DID AND THEY STILL RECOMMEND AN OIL ON THEIR SITE BUT IT SEEMS TO NO LONGER CARRY THE SPEC. I think redline makes one for the car too and there are some European brands but Pennzoil is the cheapest and most readily available that meets the spec.

This car is a sports car for driving with your hair in the wind and enjoying driving. With the changes I never had this problem. The hand and arms are not meant to rest on the console and gear lever. It's a car to enjoy every curve and not worry about your I Phone.

Thanks for the vid bud. Redeye owner here. I'm respecting the stocks scat pack challenger running 410/425 on a second run. That is about like a Ford Lightning with bolt ons. Not bad at all actually under rated apples to apples.

I on occasion put my phone in the cupholder between the seats. Your negative point for that is not being able to see it. You dont need to see your phone when driving 😅
