I remember putting this movie on for my girlfriend and I to watch and her being skeptical it was anything more than another stupid 80's horror flick. But she couldn't turn away from it and laughed at all the funny jokes, it made her night! Then I told her "See, I told you it rocks." 😆👍

that is a onnagata. and yes they are male playing female roles since in the 16th century they banned woman from playing because of i think prostitution/ rape? and it wasnt moral for them . so young feminine boys got the female roles but got banned after some time because the same reason rape/prostitution so there are adult man who would play as female roles so its not new or shocking

Daniel Araújo i respect what your saying but i personally enjoy hearing the insights into the history and meaning. As, someone that’s lives in a western country this gives me a chance to experience the fullness i might not. There are videos out there just have to keep searching for full segments.
