I was 24 in the summer of 1978 and Seals & Croft had a performance at Lake Hickory in Nashville, Tennessee. It was quite warm in the sun awaiting their appearance. When were they going to show up anyway? Away in the distance from the other side of the lake appeared a boat just in front of the setting sun. It was slowly making it's way toward the gathered throng. It looked as if they were checking out the apparition of all the people on the shore, but then suddenly turned into the dock and tied up. The colored lights lit up the bow of the boat as two musicians with their guitars strode over the bow and onto the stage. Their first song was Summer Breeze and the magic that was Seals & Croft happened right in front of our eyes. Thanks for helping me recall the memory. Well done; very well done.

Thanks, Curt! I should have put Lennon's rhythm guitar triplet pattern on... That really makes the song soar! John always liked this song of Paul's and played it well... He really was a great rhythm player.

Much needed this morning Mike and Susan as I can no longer bear to watch the horrific events in Texas. Not lost on me is the beautiful lyrics and soothing acoustic guitar. I think we are all once again speechless this morning. We welcomed our 6th grandchild into the world yesterday, our joy is only tempered by the world he will see :(
