@ yes please i’ve been in the industry for a little over a year, I have half a dozen clients and merchants so far, but I feel like the conversations that I’m having with new merchants and the amount of set ups and installations I have doesn’t add up. And statements is a big driving factor and what we primarily use as leverage to show the merchants just how much value we can add along with getting access to me,my team and the expertise and professionalism we bring to the table!

I totally agree with the direct approach. Pretending to be a customer, or hiding the fact that you're a salesperson is essentially lying right off the bat, when your goal is to build trust. Nothing sells better than honesty.

I’d be careful offering “education” to Congress about our industry…. The more they know the more dangerous they are with other people’s money. They will find a way to decimate the ISO eventually. They don’t want anyone making money but themselves.

Does anyone know of a good way to get a receipt layout approved as compliant? My receipt shows the item base price, tax, then a cash and card price with tax. (for each item) I think this is the most clear to the customer, but some people say that because the base price of the item is showing (so essentially the cash price with no tax added), that it is not compliant, even though we list the cash and credit price for each item as well.
