It's easy to forget how helpful a basic color chart can be! Adore Sharon Wee, awesome teacher! Are there any US retailers that carry Pettinice colored fondant?

Not sure how to know the portions to get the color. Are they in grams? I mean 90 grams of yellow and 1 gram of purple?
@Pettinice6 жыл бұрын
Hello there! The portions are indeed in grams. So you are correct 90 grams : 1 gram. The order is Yellow : Purple

m going to try that as a test, the problems with my cakes at home is that they sweat, like there is no tomorrow, so I will be scared that they my fondant will be attached to the cover when I turn it over....
@Pettinice8 жыл бұрын
+angeleyes9677 Kerry suggests sprinkling some cornflour on the top of the board. Do your cakes sweat because of climate change (fridge to ambient room temperature), or just generally because you live in a high humidity environment?
@malinturlock6157 жыл бұрын
My cake also normally sweat because I have alot of waterbased layer in my cakes. But usually I just use a baking paper between the cake and the board :)
@misszbth44196 жыл бұрын
Pettinice my fondant sweat right after i finish covering. What will i do?
@Pettinice6 жыл бұрын
Hi Elizabeth. Is it sweating because your cake is too cold before covering? That will cause it to condensate. Pat it with a cornstarch pouch as an emergency before smoothing.

Hi Kerry I thought your video was great - can you tell me where I can get the board you turned your cake onto and also your wooden turntable. Thanks from Maggie
@Pettinice8 жыл бұрын
+margaret thompson are you based in New Zealand? She purchased hers through Kez Maxwell from Iced by Kez*, who is currently taking orders. Her wooden turntable was custom made by her Grandfather.
