My reaction on reject the church song by Gen Zs. I know we live in the last days and the term REJECT the CHURCH might not sound good, but can't we look at it this way; 2nd JOHN 9-11 SAYS, "9 anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God ; whoever continues in the teaching has both the father and the son. 10, if anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not take him into your house or welcome him. 11, anyone who welcomes him shares in his wicked work. From the above scripture, even if the Gen Zs decide to avoid the church based on what it stands for, I have no problem! Coz they clearly state what they are not comfortable with in the song.( From the above verse the Bible wants us to reject falsehood!) I know someone will quote HEBREW 10:25, and say look it says, "let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another and all the more as you see the day approach ". (The verse above does not talk about church or the building but, a group of believers encouraging one another). "As an iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another" Proverbs 27:17. From the verse above, you will agree with me that wood can not sharpen an iron! You have to look for someone with true gospel to sharpen you! Unless the so called churches will behave and start doing what is right and true according to the Bible, as few church pastors are doing, the churches will be rejected!
