"Zoom out" is the best description I've herd about what awareness does when loses focus on the exterior and comes to be aware of awareness. Its hard to put it into words but this is what expresses the best when I'm identified with thoughts and sudenly, I ZOOM OUT and come back to being the observer. 🙏🏻🔥

I like being barefoot outside. Only its winter and my toes would freeze, so I only really go barefoot in the summer. I heard touching trees is a good alternative.

That makes sense, you know I'll have to play around with the tree aspect. Have you noticed any contrast in what you feel in winter when you do touch trees?

@@justinegliskisThat's great. If I place both hands on the tree for about a minute I begin to really zero in on being completely present. If I can hear wind blowing through its leaves when I do it, it feels enlivening. It feels sacred to me. In the warmer months when it is comfortable going barefoot, I don't really notice this with earthing as much. But I always recall walking a little taller when going back to wearing footwear. Walking seems easier. I like walking barefoot on grass and sand the most. The sand gives my feet a workout that shoes can't do and after I have gone home and showered, I feel extra clean. I love how my soles feel afterward. They become very soft after going to the beach for a few days. Feelings of being healthier and happier are definitely noticeable. But the best thing is that any back pain I may have is relieved for up to a week afterwards. Going barefoot definitely helps me. I can only say good things about this practice. I loved your video. Go caving aswell touching the rock and being in nature sends your vibration so high .i was jus thinkin yday ima do some barefoot to try and rid my anxiety then your vid comes on phone well done great vid

Someone who actually understands something about how humans process information.. I'll say what she is saying another way. Your eyes are like the lens of a video camera. You can take video with no sound, no narrative, no story, no music and what do you get? you get silent images. This is what she is referring to in observing, you have no internal dialogue, you're not commenting or labeling the experience. This is how animals live, they have no words so they do not create a story about an event. they just observe. When someone is commenting or narrate the experiece, you alter the pure experience, now depending on how your narrating or commenting on the experience, positive or negative etc. is going to determine how you encode that experience into long term memory...... Moral of the story? Be careful of how you are narrating your experience... better yet, don't narrate and just have the purer experience. Isn't that what you do when your in nature... you just experience with no words? Also, stress isn't real, stress is like the boogie man, it's only real if you believe in it.

I like what you said about on learning. That's the name of the game. And my experience, resistance is fear actually protecting you. It's not a bad thing to be conquered. It's something to get curious about and to look into why a certain thing that's happening right now is triggering you to shut down or is making you not want to do the task. It's not that you're lazy, your brain is just protecting you from the pain it thinks that will happen again from a prior traumatic event. Fear of failure, fear of rejection, fear of criticism. Fear of Abandonment. Why? Ask yourself why? What does this mean? Is this true? What is it that I should be feeling? What is it that I want to feel? Once you stop in the moment of resistance and process, things get easier. I feel pushing through works for the few things, but those super hard to do tasks... life changing things... it takes kindness and compassion to yourself. Were getting up early, going to the gym, stuff like that might be easier to push through. But even then, if you sit down and process your resistance to going to the gym you might realize that you are actually scared of looking too attractive, which will spark the trigger of not feeling worthy in love so you self-sabotage. The more cans you open up, the more worms there are... tis the healing process... tis life...

Just beautiful. I think you hit the nail on the head, the way you process it is up to you and there are certain angles that support your evolution and other angles which are essentially not for YOU. Grateful to receive such a though out response, I appreciate you listening more than I can express.
