0:23 Shouldn't ask 'yes-no' question. Say, "You eat 🍕, right?" All the while have a slight bobble head nod - a subtle 'Jedi mind trick.' Also, they're not coupons - those come free in the mail. These are vouchers! Juice?

Great insights in this video. It's true that connecting with people in sales is irreplaceable. I recently discovered Myko Assistant, which streamlines finding professional profiles and job postings. It’s a helpful tool for anyone looking to stay ahead in their sales career.

She is talking out of both sides of her moth. She mentions some good things that She, the individual, needs to do, but then states she needs others around he to be successful at them. BS. It is good to acknowledge feedback, but it is extremely important to understand that you are ultimately responsible for you, and relying on anyone else, particularly a large group, means that you relay on those who do not have your best interest at heart and have only there perspective, their vision of who and what you should be. This is a week women who will never gain the respect of those who work for her.

I got stuck in California right during the shutdown. It happened the day after I got there. Flights home were canceled and I had to spend an extra week there, then my boss says I have to isolate at home for 2 weeks before returning to work. I kept my hands busy by forging things and learning to weld better in the garage. Were it not for those outlets, I'd have gone crazy. 3 extra weeks off challenged by sanity. I can't imagine ENJOYING getting paid to sit around getting absolutely nothing done. If you're that kind of person, you're what's wrong with the workforce and the current low quality of American production and productivity.

Actually that’s not true…. Most people are easy to manipulate & DON’T have a good radar for BS… they enable poor behavior! People that DO have a good radar for BS, are either respected for it… or attacked for calling out the BS, when people don’t want to see the truth… And you’re right! Pretending to Care does cause more damage… it’s disrespectful… yet, making an effort… SHOWS

Opinion from my experience - Two heads are better than one only when each head is different. Instead of standardizing, focus on getting the most out of each person's gifts. You'll have more flexibility in responding to challenges, more innovation, higher satisfaction, and inspire loyalty. Standards of the type he is talking about tend to make the boss's life easier, under the excuse of consistency. Instead, do the hard work of finding the value in the full range of capabilities your team represents.

He's right. In-person sales is a great way to start out because even if you don't end up doing it as a career, you'll learn lots of valuable skills.
